My Practice: Passion and Compassion

I approach my work with both. For almost 40 years as a teacher and now a counselor I have helped at-risk adolescents and young adults in a variety of cross cultural settings. I have also worked extensively with adults facing life transitions, such as employment issues, menopause, retirement, and serious illness. I know how rewarding it is when we use our difficulties-- depression, anxiety, substance abuse, spiritual crises, to name just a few-- to develop resiliency. I provide a safe and caring space for my clients to tell their stories, explore their issues, and heal their sorrows.

My Commitment

I promise to be there for you every step of your journey, in the way that is best for you. I do both in-person and video counseling. I have experience in and am certified (BC-TMH) to do video counseling throughout Wisconsin. For people who do not have access to a local counselor, video counseling is an effective way to receive help.  My fees are low to accommodate clients who don't have insurance and/or cannot afford high out-of-pocket costs.
